As mentioned a few posts ago, right now I’m so in love with this remix wunderkind I decided to compile some of his best remixes right under the cut.

10. Future – Turn On The Lights (Ryan Hemsworth Bootleg)

A good example of Hemsworth’s less-is-more production yet amazing outcome. He didn’t tweak too much on this Future classic by adding some sparkly synth and simple beat rework.

9. Tinashe – Boss (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Sultry vocals meets fluttery beats pretty much sums it all up. Take good care of the repeat button though.

8. Craig David – Fill Me In (Ryan Hemsworth Bootleg)

This infectious 2-step anthem gets a spot-on 808 treatment with additional guitar work and bass-driven instrumentals, making it sound fresher than ever.

7. Jeremih – 773 Love (Ryan Hemsworth Squaresoft Bootleg)

Despite technically not being a remix, this tune is in fact one of the best bootlegs around. Ryan laid down a clever Chrono Trigger sample under this tantalizing Mike Will Made It produced track, resulting in serious waves of emotions without requiring a lot of touch-ups.

6. Rhye – Open (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Another flawless take by the Halifax native. This time, adding some blips and blobs to a slow jam where his eclectic production seemed to be well-executed under Rhye’s dreamy vocals.

5. Monolithium - Bounce 4 Life (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Finally a track that lives up to its name. Head nodding is inevitable while listening to this “shimmery trap” tune. Deep bassline and looped vocals added a somewhat mysterious flair, letting know there’s something intriguing going on.

4. Cat Power – Manhattan (feat. Angel Haze) (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Impeccable job had been done here by the Canadian producer as Angel Haze tagged alongside him to give Cat Power’s Manhattan spacey and atmospheric, mind-blowing revamp.

3. Lana Del Rey – Summertime Sadness (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

A ray of WEDIDIT sunshine had been infused into this somewhat dark tune as Ryan threw LDR’s wispy vocals on top of his oh-so-awesome drum rework. Bow down.

2. Mike Din – Losing You (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Emotional 808 at its finest. Remixing fellow Canadian producer Mike Din, expect some exotic blend of delicate melody and thumping beats like you never heard before.

1. Grimes – Genesis (Ryan Hemsworth Remix)

Ripping apart classic Grimes vibe on this one but still left some good bits from the original. Claire’s looped chanting layered with hazy flute sounds and ethereal synth work on top of his addictive kicks and snares routine. An unexpected but great Deniro Farrar line around 2 minutes in topped it off majestically, as approved by the experimental queen herself. Pop in a good pair of headphones and experience the chills all over.

Another smooth jam from the Wedidit affiliate as featured on his mix for FACT magazine. A bit late on this one, but it seemed like 2012 didn’t fail to display his prolific work and magical takes on numerous tunes, including a recent one for fellow Canadian Mike Din. Big things are definitely coming for this talented producer in 2013, so let’s just wait and see.
